125 members resign from NLD of Hinthada Township


 YANGON,  18  Sept -  Altogether  125  members  of
 National   League  for   Democracy   of  Hinthada
 Township,   Ayeyawady   Division,  of  their  own
 volition,   resigned   by   sending   letters  of
 resignation  to the  party  concerned  as they no
 longer wished to participate in party politics of
 NLD.  A  ceremony  to   collectively   hand  over
 resignations of 125 members of Hinthada  Township
 NLD,  Ayeyawady  Division,  to Hinthada  Township
 Multiparty  Democracy General Election Commission
 was held at the office of Hinthada Township Peace
 and  Development  Council on 26 July 1999.  U Kyi
 Nyunt, on behalf of the party members,  explained
 the  reasons,  followed  by  presentation  of the
 resignations  to Chairman of Township  Multiparty
 Democracy  General Election  Sub-Commission U Tun
 Aung Kyaw
