12:00 PM at Townhall

Gather at Townhall and march to NSW Parliament House

In August 1988, 11 years ago, military dictator in Burma brutally crushed
thousands of peaceful demonstrators and seized power. People's
representatives in the 1990 General Elections that promised by the military
regime to hand over power to elected people's representatives, have been
brutally supressed and detained. Many have died in prison as a result of
torture and poor living condition.

Democracy and Human Rights are still denied in Burma. The struggle goes on.

Join us for Democracy and Human Rights in Burma.
