Senior General Than Shwe accepts credentials 
of Ambassador of Kuwait

YANGON, 25 Aug-Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council of the
Union of Myanmar Senior General Than Shwe accepted the credentials of the
newly-accredited Ambassador of the ,State of Kuwait to the Union of Myanmar
Mr Mohamed Ahmed Al-Mijrin Al-Roomi, at Dagon Yeiktha of the Ministry of
Defence at 9.30 am. today.


    Also present on the occasion were State Peace and 
Development Council Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt and 
Director-General Thura U Aung Htet of the Protocol Department.
