Thai Deputy Prime Minister arrives on goodwill visit


YANGON, 29 July -At the invitation of Secretary-1 of the State Peace and 
Development Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom 
of Thailand Mr Bhichai Rattakul arrived here by air at 6:45 pm today on a 
goodwill visit to the Union of Myanmar.

The visiting Thai Deputy Prime Minister and delegation were welcomed at 
Yangon International Airport by Secretary-1 of the State Peace and 
Development Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Win 
Aung, Minister for Home Affairs Col Tin Hlaing, Minister for Social Welfare, 
Relief and Resettlement Brig-Gen Pyi Sone, Deputy Minister for Foreign 
Affairs U Khin Maung Win, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar Mr Pensak 
Chalarak and staff of Thai Embassy.


Then, Thai Deputy Prime Minister Mr Bhichai Rattakul and delegation together 
with Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt left the airport for Inya Kantha State 
House.


The Thai Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by senior officials of 
Thailand.
