Secretary-3, leader of Shan State (North) Special 
Region-2 discuss regional development in Wa region

YANGON, 28 July-Secretary 3 of the State Peace and Development Council 
Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Win Myint, accompanied by Commander of North East 
Command Maj-Gen Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo, Minister for Home Affairs Col 
Tin Hlaing, Minister for Progress ,of Border Areas and National Races and 
Development Affairs Col Thein Nyunt, Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and 
Resettlement Brig-Gen Pyi Sone, Minister for Science and Technology U Thaung, 
Minister for Religious Affairs Maj-Gen Sein Htwa and officials of the State 
Peace and Development Council and departments, left Lashio for Pansang on 26 
July.


The Secretary-3 presented gifts sent by Chairman of Work Committee for 
Development of Border Areas and National Races Secretary-1 of the State Peace 
and Development Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt to U Pauk Yu Chan.


The Secretary-3 and leader of Shan State (North) Special Region-2 U Pauk Yu 
Chan then posed for photo.


Thc Secretary-3 left for Nampaung Village in Lashio Township by helicopter.


He attended opening ceremony of library and submitting USDA membership 
applications in Nampaung Village.

The Secretary-3 went back to Mandalay and spent the night there.
