Secretary-1 urges athletes to SEA Games to strive 
their utmost to bring honours to nation


YANGON, 15 July - A meeting was held in Padamya Hall at 
National Indoor Stadium-1 here this morning to coordinate 
sending of.Myanmar sports contingent to the XX South-East 
Asia Games, addressed by Chairman of Myanmar National Olympic 
Council Secretary-l of the State Peace and Development 
Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt.

    Then YCDC presented K 10 million to the Myanmar sports 
contingent to the XX SEA Games, U Kyaw Win of Shwethanlwin 
Co Ltd US $ 5,000, U Ko Ko Htwe of Tawwin family US $ 2,000, 
U Myo Myint-of M3 Food Centre K 300,000, U Thein Tun of MGS 
Beverages Co Ltd K 200,000, U Maung Maung of Asia Express 
Construction Co Ltd K 200,000, U Kyaw Kyaw of Shankan 
Restaurant K 100,000, U Zaw Min of Zaw Min Trading Co 
Ltd K 100,000, U Maung Maung of Sahara Co Ltd K 100,000, 
U Win Hlaing (a) Na Hsel of Cross World K 100,000, U Ko 
Ko Aye and U Yan Naing Lwin of National Golf Range 
K 100,000, U Kyaw Kyaw of Asia Point Bowling Club 
K 100,000 and U Mya Han of Fortune International Co 
Ltd K 100,000.

    Secretary-l Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt, Mayor U Ko Lay and 
Minister Brig-Gen Sein Win accepted the donations.

    In his concluding address, the Secretary-l said all 
Myanmar athletes to the SEA Games should strive their 
utmost to win medals; and the event-wise managers and 
coaches must seek means for the athletes to win medals 
and to bring honour to the nation.
