MAI resumes Yangon-KualaLumpur-Yangon flight


YANGON, 15 July-Myanmar Airways International (MAI) 
resumed its twice-a-week flight between Yangon and Kuala 
Lumpur this noon with the use of Boeing 737-400.


    Air transport service of the airline on the flight 
route was suspended temporarily for five months and 15 
days beginning 1 February.


    As before the temporary suspension period, the 
airline operates the flight on Thursdays and Sundays.


    Deputy Minister for Transport Brig-Gen Kyaw Myint, 
MAI Chairman U Tin Hlaing Hmi and officials saw off 
the passengers going on that flight.


    The aircraft arrived back at the airport at 6 pm.


    The deputy minister and officials welcomed the 
passengers who arrived here on the flight.
