The crowd chanted the pro democracy slogans for hours.
It was a hot day for London. Grey and overcast. But inside
the Burmese Embassy in Charles Street, things were hoting
up even more.

Outside, the dipomatic po-lice service were their usually
friendly and sympathetic selves and a certain amount of
liberationist fun was had by all.

Even the new ambassador, one "Dr Win", a personal friend
of his general namesake had time for a shy and somewhat
fixed grimace at the crowd.. (was this some sort of sporting
gesture?) As he sat impatiently waiting for Her Majesty's
golden carraiges to transport his undemocratic butt to the
Palace.
Win was there to present his non democratic creditials, and
probably an ounce or two of his best opium to the Queen of
England.

Everyone, even the po-lice had to smile. For the scene was
one of pure farce. But at British taxpayers expense. For the
British taxpayer pays for democracy, not for the protection of
a drug dealing foreign dictatorship.
The shouts and the music continued long after Win had
been hurriedly dismissed, back from whence he came by
Elizabeth the 2nd and her ornate retinue.
Whose own family has had quite enough dealings with
drugs to last them well past the Millenium. And she must
have been very aware that this was the primary representative
of the largest state heroin production in the world.
But for Burma Out! this behind closed doors day didn't
end there.

Now China has been made aware that Burma is to be
isolated, there were other embassies and High
Commissions to visit.
And we are pleased to tell you that : Added to the most
powerful anti-drugs communication loop in the world. The
Burma Out loop. Today, three more nations have joined the
debate, on the most effective way to kick Burma Out of
Syd 2000.
And in fact Burma Out has gained a lot of ground within
the last 2 weeks. Wish we could tell you more, but security
does not allow.
