Minister, officials hold meeting on XX SEA Games

YANGON, 1 July-A coordination meeting of Chairman of Myanmar Olympic 
Committee Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Sein Win and presidents and officials 
of sports federations on XX SEA Games took place at the National Indoor 
Stadium- I this afternoon.


Also present were Vice-Chairman of MOC Vice- Adjutant-General Brig-Gen Maung 
Nyo, General-Secretary of MOC Director-General of Sports and Physical 
Education Department Col Thaung Htaik and officials.


Making a speech on the occasion, Minister Brig-Gen Sein Win said it is vital 
for uplifting the prestige of the nation through the of sports and that is 
why only athletes who are sure to win prizes for the State will be sent to 
the SEA Games. Also present were Brig-Gen Maung Nyo, Col Thaung Htaik and 
officials. The minister presented prizes to trainees who were outstanding in 
the course and certificates to trainees through officials. A total of 66 
trainees attended the course.
