MILITARY MENTALITY OF THE PERTINACIOUS BRASSHATS

The Karen state has been  a disturbed region full of corrupt military
officials and DKBA troops authorised to carry arms and run the taxing
business from traders. The major transferred from Kok-Khaing is reported to
have been sent to the front in the Karen state  to fight against the KNU
freedom fighters. Military officials in all parts of the nation are reported
to have committed crimes such as rape,torture and murder. In the name of
national security, divisional commanders are allowed to torture and murder
whoever looks and sounds suspicious in their eyes.

As a matter of fact, these divisional commanders seem to reckon that they
are Gods and act like Gods too. For example, if you run into a judicial
proceeding against you, you don't have to bribe the judge. In fact, bribing
the judge is another remedy to be free or not to be found guilty for the
crime you've committed. Go talk to the divisional commander who is
responsible in your township. And that commander will talk to the judge and
the judge will soon have to become a marionette. They themselves are the
executive, legislative and judicial bodies. That is how law is run by
military personnel in Burma. 

Yet the military government and their thugs often talk about the
constitution and its important role and essence despite the fact that the
military brasshats do not fret  about the constitution , that they ignore
how the constitution should be written and who should write them. The
military personnel  and even civil servants have been forced to believe that
the military way is a proper way of running a nation. Saving the nation from
disruptive hands is one responsibility. Prolonging transfer of power to
civilian rule is another inborn arduous effort the military  government must
do. All the government is perturbed about is to hold on to power as long as
possible. ASEAN has been  a big shield and a public relations mechanism  for
the brasshats to influence the international view of Burma. The point is
ASEAN  leaders are being brainwashed by the Burmese military brasshats. When
ASEAN admitted Burma , its intention was to persuade and change Burma. Now
that Burma is not changed. ASEAN is! You cannot change the devil. The devil
changes you.
