Opening of doctorate course in medical science discussed


YANGON, 29 June - A meeting on the opening of the doctorate course in
medical science was held in the meeting hall of the Department  Medical
Science this morning.


Present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Health Dr Mya Oo,
directors-general, rectors, directors and professors of the Ministry of
Health, doctorate course instructors and trainees. Director (Post Graduate)
of the Department of Medical Science Dr Daw Mya Wai explained matters
related to opening the course.


The deputy minister stressed the importance of human resources, and spoke
of the need for producing medical practioners and health employees.


The meeting ended with concluding remarks by the deputy  
minister.
