Dear friends,

We, ONSOB in Bangkok, have been submitted a current Human Right =
situation report to Asian Students' Association on the fist day of 14th =
conference on 20th March 99. This conference has been attented by =
delegates from 33 organizations from 27 countries.
    That report consist of two parts as follow;
1..     Increasing Human Rights violation in Burma since 13th ASA =
conference in last three years ago. And some explanation about why Burma =
need Human Rights first rather than Developments. (Note: There have been =
long time argument of political philosophy in Asia that development =
should come first before Human Rights were restore.)
    2.. In the last part, we have requested to the students leader =
delegates to support our country's struggle for Democracy and Human =
Rights. And request ASA to recognize CRPP, Committee Representing People =
Parliament, as a single legitimate parliament of Burma and requested to =
deman Burmese military regime to hand over the power to the CRPP.
    With best regards,
Mr. Zaw Wint.
