``ASEAN is a bloc of nations, isn't it? Why should some country be left

outside of the ASEAN fold. ASEAN is ASEAN. ASEAN will not be complete

arrival.


In the past some ASEAN nations were known as <bold>Kyas</bold>(Tiger is
called kya in Burmese) of Asia.  After Burmese <bold>Phut</bold> (water
lizard is called phut in Burmese) joined the ASEAN and  Asian Tigers
(Kyas) became Phut Kya(a lizard which has strike). 


Phut= a species of guana; the water lizard.  The Burmese consider it very
unlucky to have this reptile come into house; its arrival is a sure omen
of poverty and misery.
