Announcement

The Eighth anniversary of The Burma Youth Volunteer Association  Japans
(B.Y.V.A) annual meeting was held in Tokyo, Japan on February 28, 1999.
B.Y.V.A was one of the pro-democracy Burmese dissidents groups, founded in
November 10, 1991 and have over 60 members. The members are working together
each other to promote democracy and human rights in Burma. Every year
B.Y.V.A establish fund raising ceremony such as Thingyan and also fund
raising trips all around Japan and supports various groups in Thai Burma
Border area and India-Burma border area, with this funds. Members voted the
1999-2000 term of Executive members. The New Executive members are
