Open Letter to Interpol

We the Burmese groups in japan strongly oppose the planning
for International Heroin Conference which will take place at Yangon on
23d - 26 February 1999.

Current military junta is known as the world biggest drug dealer. Your
plans will only encourage that brutally person to save their face and gave
chance to cover up their drug traffic all over the world. This military
junta
is not an elected government and without any approval from the legal
Committee for representative of Peoples' Parliament, your meeting will
only violate the interner affairs of The Fedaral Union of Burma and desicion
from General Assembly of United Nation.

We urge you to reconsider your plans and change this meeting to other
country.
