Requisition of KNU to all fellow members alliance who struggle under the same
fate.

Ref: Regarding with anti-KNU movements carried out by some former KNU
members,
it is informed as below.
1. KNU, while generously scarifying and rendering a great deal of its
efforts for firmly resisting military pressure of military junta's enormous
politics, has defended its basic principles of revolution. Giving priority for
the interest of the oppressed and ethnic nationalities KNU has steadfastly
defended its people. KNU, joining hand in hand with fellow ethnic armed groups
as well as democratic elements, has perseveringly and courageously faced many
hardships.
2. Some former KNU members, while KNU, coping with the most difficult
problems, have drastically carried out the anti-KNU movements. Regarding with
this matter, KNU has never made bad comments on those people. KNU, while
fighting against the enemy on one side has faced and persuaded anti-KNU
movements calm on the other side.
3. KNU, thinking that now is the time to convince fellow members alliance
about some anti-KNU movements has thus profoundly intimated to members
alliance
concerned.
4. Some KNU members, while the enemy launched a major offensive
against KNU
and Karen revolution, couldn't endure revolution's hardships as well as Karen
people and Karen revolutionaries. Some KNU members, giving some reasons, tried
to go abroad. KNU will not prohibit or disturb such attempts to go abroad.
However, KNU can not accept such anti-KNU and Karen revolution movements and
propaganda while making an attempt to go abroad.
5. At this moment, since KSO as well as WG-KNU are making an effort which
can break up the national unification between the Karen revolution and Karen
people, all fellow members alliance have to be realized such activities and
are
requested not to cooperate them.
