WNO's statement on committee repres

The WNO's statement on committee representing the parliament
Wa National Organization declares that we support the formation of the "10
member committee" representing the parliament llected by the 1990 general
election.
 
It has already been known that the National League for Democracy (NLD) is
the party that won a landslide victior during general election held on May
27,1990.
 
10 committee member represents on befalf of 251 representatives-elect and
people of Burma to serve parliament's activities legally, on the other hand,
committee fulfils the will of people, so WNO support strongly.

We call on our brothered organizations reached cease-fire agreement with
SLORC/SPDC, ruling military dictator, to consider as follows:

- The resistance organizations led by ethnic nationalities' leaders have
been struggling by military means to gain democracy and national equality.

- However, ruling military regime oppressed the innocent ethnic
nationalities concerned by various inhuman crulities, in a fact, according
to demand by people and to get loop hole temporarily, you have decided to do
like this, agreement cease-fire with militarists. Never the less, you have
aim and objective finding resolution by political means.


- The SLORC/SPDC, the military regime, has been attracting you with your
self-interest, but ruling junta notify you ultimatum to give up arms after
unlawful national convention sponsored by military dictators.

- Therefore, WNO demand brothered csase-fire organization with military
regime, not to becone national traitors in history, as a result, please
support in various ways, to 10 committee representing the parliament, to
raise democratic federal nation based on self-determination, liberty and
equality, and to annex militarism.
