Call or Fax for Human Rights in Bur

Supporters of Democracy and Human Rights in Burma:

The campaign for a Los Angeles Free Burma Ordinance continues to move
forward and we hope to have the item rescheduled in city council committee
as soon as possible.
Please contact Councilmember Nate Holden's office:
You can call him at (213) 485-3323 . You can fax him at (213) 485-9829.

Tell him two things:

1. THANK HIM for his support for the Free Burma ordinance. Emphasize
the seriousness of the situation in Burma right now and that it is a very
important time for LA to support democracy in Burma.

2. ASK HIM TO PLEASE SCHEDULE THE BURMA ISSUE FOR THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL
RELATIONS COMMITTEE HEARING ON OCTOBER 6. Again, emphasize the
importance of moving forward quickly.

Call the Burma Forum at (310)399-0703 with any questions.
