The Myanmar Government is acting appropriately in detaining and interrogating
the 18 foreigners who deliberately made the trip for the "dissidents overseas"
to create unrest in Myanmar. They are in violation of Myanmar Laws as well as
the law of their own countries. It is clearly stated in their passports that
the holder will not engage in any subversive activities againt the country to
which they entered with the passport issued by their Governments.

Since these 18 are holding "regular/ordinary passports", the Government of
Myanmar has every right in detaining them until investigation is completed and
if found guilty of violating the laws of Myanmar, then appropriate punishment
should be meted out and their respective Governments advised of such
sentences.
The Burmese dissidents overseas must not be allowed to utilize foreigners to
do
their dirty political work which they are afraid to do it themselves. Shame on
them.
