Dear Prime Minister,

Re: Protest against the oppression of trade union member and demand the
release of all the detainees.

We write to strongly protest against your government's oppression against
the trade union activities and the democratic movement. It is universally
recognized that people has the right to express his idea and the right to
association. If the Mynamese Government wish to continue to join the
international community and doing business with boycotting from others, you
should immediately improve the critical condition in your country,
otherwise you will be totally isolated, and at last overthrown by the people.

We Hong Kong, the free and democratic trade unions are very concern of our
colleagues in your country and demand the release of the detainees
immediately.

We wish to hear from you soon and wait for your quick action and response.
Thank you for your kind attention.

Yours fraternally,

Lee Kwok Keung
Chairman
