17th International Peace Research Association Conference had been held =
in Durban, South Africa from 23 to 26 June 1998.
In this IPRA Conference, Free Burma Campaign of South Africa displayed " =
Burma Table" and distributed human rights violation documents on Burma =
to international academic delegates.
On 24 th June, Dr. Thein Win from Burma who is residing in South Africa =
read a paper on " Non-violent struggle of Burmese People". This paper =
was prepared by Dr. Mikio Oishi, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia. =
On behalf of Dr. Mikio, Dr. Thein Win presented at IPRA Conference and =
distributed to international delegates.
Dr. Mikio Oishi is a conflict resolution researcher from University of =
Sarawak, Malaysia. He is an author of  a book " Aung San Suu Kyi' s =
Struggle; Its Principles and Strategy".
