Spell checked :-)

Dear Panyoma,

(1) The conference was not an NCGUB/FTUB's offer.
(2) It was I, for one, who would like to assist all of you
with my own resources and labour in order to provide you with
a free medium. My idea was that providing you all with such
a medium, you all can speak out all you want to say without
any reservation. That is why I even "have to" limit this
conference to "Burmese people only". I am DEADLY AWARE of
the fact that we, Burmese activists can do little or NOTHING
without the support and whole hearted participation of the
foreigners which in turn is the international community.
Knowing this on the one hand, but on the other hand, I just have
to limit this. The reason is very simple: I want to safe your
burning desire to speak out whatever you have to say. This in
fact is a kind of compromise. Because, I received very sad
responses from my genuine non-Burmese comrades, the international
    friends!

(3) However, after my sincere and detailed explanation to them,
they felt quite comfortable about this and they told me that if
they were to put into these circumstances, they will have to do
the same. MAY GOD BLESS THEM.

(4) ***To my regret, I get no registration on 20 Jan 1998.***

(5) ***Non whatsoever on 21 Jan 1998, Sunday.***

(6) This morning, 22 Jun 98, I got your message on the Burma Net.
APPARENTLY, you did not use the correct address. Please see
    your own posting as follows:

(7) THE CORRECT ADDRESS is <nin@xxxxxx>
To help you to memorise it, keep Netherlands in mind. Thus
last two letters are "NL". Please do not put any "dot" after NL.

(8) My conclusion is the following.
***NOBODY registered for the conference on 20 June 98.
Neither on 21 June 98. You are the ONLY ONE who ATTEMPTED
to register, but you used the WRONG ADDRESS.

With metta and solidarity,
Yours,
Dr. Daw Khin Ni Ni Thein
