Dear Burmanet Audience and Student Comrades,

On June 8, 1998, an AOL account holder (Burmese@xxxxxxx) posted a piece of
message regarding the queries regarding FTUB/ NCGUB organizations. Just a
quick glance of this message posted by "Burmese@xxxxxxx" affirmed me that
he/she was speaking against the exploited (Burmese students) for the
exploiters(FTUB and the like), because in his message "Burmese@xxxxxxx" wrote:
"Let's kick butt...Let's say SPDC dogs go to hell." "Burmese@xxxxxxx" did not
watch his/her language, so I would like to tell whosoever has got the same
mind-set as that of "Burmese@xxxxxxx" that it takes intelligence and heritage
of revolutionary thinking to understand the postings by Kyaw Zay Ya, Kyaw Kyaw
Htut, Maung Maung Thant, RHMyint, Panyoma, Direct8888, Bagan1040, Aungsoe,
etc., because all of these people understand that to let injustice go by is as
much an ugliness as injustice itself.

I would like to readdress the same issue as mentioned in the title, because a
few people came into our discussion of non-existent fake federation of trade
unions of Burma without understanding how important it is to establish a
clean, effective political community among pro-democracy freedom fighters of
Burma. As opposed to the deliberate attempt of such individuals ( not more
than three or four so far ) to belittle the courageous efforts of several
progressive students and activists who have criticized the notorious
organization FTUB and persistently called on NCGUB to make arrangements to
solve the FTUB-related problem by means of face-to-face dialogue (not on the
phone) or open debate with Maung Maung, to me it is a stunning, breakthrough
experience to see with much pride and delight that more and more students
close to the roots of the Burmese democratic struggle have freely and
courageously expressed their views about FTUB/ and NCGUB these days.

First of all, I must say how motivated and encouraged I was to read the
postings by
Kyaw Zay Ya, Kyaw Kyaw Htut, Maung Maung Thant, RHMyint, Panyoma, Direct8888,
Bagan1040, Aungsoe, and I am very thankful to many other students who in one
way or another provided important imformation about FTUB's misappropriation of
public funds.

However, there are obviously counterattacks from such people as Armanda, U Ne
Oo,
Strider, the person bearing a fake name "Burmese@xxxxxxx", and a few others
who have to protect FTUB because they have chosen not to hear our voices
calling for the enclosure of the thuth. The vitality of the students and
activists equipped with radical mind-set is now a big threat to Maung Maung
and his followers, because opportunists and liars never want to see an
emergence of effective people dedicated to fight the underdog mentality
widespread within the overseas Burmese political community. As far as FTUB and
NCGUB are concerned, they would do everything to instill the underdog
mentality in as many people as possible.

All I want to see in years of an exiled life is how well the present leaders
of pro-democracy forces have protected and developed human capital, but not
constant complaints and frustrations of almost every student in the movement.
On the part of the students, they have never unfairly criticized FTUB and
NCGUB for their not being able to get the Burmese people democracy overnight.
Instead the students only believe that NCGUB and FTUB must seek a way to ease
the strain of the political life overseas if they are to maintain people
morale and build bonds with real forces and activists. The reality is however
the opposite, because Big Guys do not care anything at all, discarding the
revolutionary concepts of the students and justifying themselves that there is
no need to see quality and efficiency in Washing DC or Australian offices,
because the whites have trusted them (NCGUB/FTUB) as long as they have Daw
Aung San Su Kyi still waging a solo war against the most inhumane military
regime on earth.
What a timely convenience for such BIG GUYS !

Nevertheless, I have every reason to respect other decent, hardworking, quiet
MPs of NLD who are either on the border or inside Burma, and even among the
NLD people appointed by Dr. Sein Win, so much has been secretly argued about
the Superpower of Maung Maung over Dr. Sein Win's office in DC. In fact, Maung
Maung does not have any spell though, all that he has got is cash in
aboundance, which was granted to FTUB by foreign organizations/governments
willing to help speed up the Burmese demotratic struggle. Had Maung Maung
inherited a large sum of money from his parents to make a Burmese revolution,
never would the Burmese students like us have attemped to break his negative
spell on the weak souls. Now that we have found out that Maung Maung and his
followers are not prepared to give us detailed transperancies of his
expenditures and the audit reports, we are left with only one option, that is,
we have to keep fighting against his corruption so that the little people of
freedom fighters in the jungles and inside Burma would get what they deserve.

Most important, all dissidents so desperate to bring about positive changes to
their environment is to face the reality just the way it is, even when the
burden of facing the reality may involve some threats and punishments from
Burmese Superpowers.
What is crucial to the Burmese dissident motivation in the bleaky Burmese
political community overseas is the dissidents' sense that they are very much
needed by both the suppressed under the SLORC/SPDC and the freedom fighters in
the jungle camps and on the borders. All they (dissidents) need to keep their
lives going in exile is to listen to the heartbreaking stories of the
suppressed and the weak, take their dreams seriously, and value the truth,
nothing but the truth that will surely benefit all of them in the long run.

Lastly, if the Burmese students and people who, in the past nine years,
sacrificed their lives in the streets, in the prisons, and in the jungles of
Burma were able to communicate with us today, I think I know what they would
have been speaking.

-------They would have told all of us:
"Comrades, we have been haunting all over Burma since we were killed.
But we've
NEVER seen a Labor UG in the streets of our country since FTUB came
into
power. Please show us one NOW!"

Upon hearing this statement from these spirits, I found one student say:
"Don't worry, Ghostly Comrades, that is what we (who have urged Dr.
Sein Win
to arrange a discussion or a debate-like meeting with the Big Guy
from FTUB)
have been so anxious to know. As soon as Maung Maung shows up with
his
transparent sheets, we'll let you know."

For Student Comrades, dead or alive,
Justice, solidarity, truth,

aye aye soe win

Dear U Ne Oo
You seemed belong to The Political Gentleman Club- just like FTUB/NCGUB
fellows. The decisions shall be made from the top and carried out.The is
betterment of the people and we have got the mandate to do so.Therefore no
explanation is needed for the public. Is that what you mean? Is this the
kind of democracy that you agree?

Then you are right.May be this is what your old book is telling you or you
are confortable with it because it suits you.

Let me say something my dear professor, you studied in Australia, you live
in Australia and you have been here for a long time.Have you ever notice
that there are fundamental flaws in this parliamentary democracy system or
you do not?

Politicians make empty election promises and people have no choice but have
to vote on those.Knowingly which will never be honoured or at least on
their mercy. If they do not,bad luck, people can do nothing but suffered
until the next election comes. Then the same thing happens again and
again.May be the other party wins but the same old story repeats.

If you remember this phrase " keep the bastards honest" by Australian
Democrat Party in the last election. What does it mean to you in this
regard?

My dear professor, there are many more that we questioned and analysed
about democracy. We even aim better suited and long lasting democracy for
Burma. We will not swallow a parliamentary democracy system as a ultimate
model - go down the same way as ASEAN and others countries infested with
bullying politicians, corruptions, neoptism, dictatorialism and so on.I am
the one definitely not going fight for that kind of democracy ,for
sure. This is why we are desperately seeking to sort out on FTUB/NCGUB issue
in a constructive way. After all cleared, we can chain hands together and
move on with new clear visions and better energy.

We will be discussing Democracy Forum on the Net later on and you are
welcome to participate.

But please do not act like a bullying academic by saying " I do think there
are a few fundamental problems that need to be adressed as regard ".
Remember, my dear professor, these student activists who,had been through
many form of political climates that you youself have hardly guessed
at,are honest, eager and willing to make things right should be encouraged.

Your suggestion that the person concerned about FTUB/NCGUB be contacted
directly to the organisation is again that your are talking out of your old
school book again Mr. Professor if you do not mind.

Public office holder, even more it is a government, as FTUB/NCGUB are of
public concerns, not an individual private company, therefore this is a
simple logic that they declare their activities and accountings etc. Why
wait until initiated. They should know what should be publicised.

"What a political stunt" that FTUB is putting lawsuit against UNOCAL that
you mentioned. Common mate ! be real,do not fool people. There are hundreds
of similar lawsuits going on against major companies in the world right now
by child labour, slave labour, forced labour, forced prostitutions and so
on.What are the results so far? Please find out yourself about it and you
will realise there is not much hope, instead legal minefield about it.

However the stunt has already cost a lots of money. Please remind your
FTUB/NCGUB mates that those crimes committed by UNOCAL are not in American
soil after all.

Please keep in touch

With regards

Panyoma
