(1) Construction of Maha Bandoola Bridge, Ngamoeyeik Bridge (Thingangyun)
Making Good Progress
Maha Bangoola Bridge is being constructed on the river bank in Dawbon
Township. Maha Bandoola Bridge, a suspension bridge with steel truss, is 3,312
feet long. It has 72-feet-wide motorway and two six-feet pedestrian lanes.
The bridge can bear 60-ton loads. The six-lane Nagmoeyeik Bridge, a
reinforced concrete bridge, is 700 feet long. The bridge will be built by
Public Works to be completed within one year.
(2) Teaching Aids for MMA, DSOH
Professor Kamal Bose of the National University of Singapore lectured on
Biomechanical Consideration of Anatomic Asian Knee Joint System at the Myanmar
Medical Association Building on 11 April. The lecture was cosponsored by
Myanmar Medical Association and Myanmar Osteomed International Co Ltd.
(3) More Cinemas to Be Lease
