Shans Battle with Burma Army Again

SHANS  BATTLE  WITH  BURMA  ARMY

Another clash of arms broke out between Shan States Army unit under
Lernherng and the 525th Light Infantry Battalion near Homong across from
Maehongson.

According to unconfirmed reports, the battle took place at about 15:00 hrs
on Monday (9 March).

Four Burmese soldiers were killed and Six were reported to be wounded. No
SSA men could be contacted to confirm the figures on loss on their own side.
