"Prospect Burma" 1998 Scholarship f

Prospect Burma announces its 1998 scholarship for Burmese students.
(Priority will be given to students who are now in south-east Asia or the
Indian sub-continent).

	The Britain-Burma web site also has new material on the "WHO KILLED AUNG
SAN??" controversy:
1.  Full verbatim trial reports from "The Burman" of the trial of U Saw, in
October and November 1947.
2.  A new and detailed commentary from someone who was on the spot - or at
least near it - at the time of the assassination.  Sir Nick Larmour G.C.M.G
was, or course, a young man in 1947 - but as Deputy Secretary to the Governor
from 1946-48 he knew most of the people at the centre of the story, and was
able to form views based on first-hand experience.
