These numbers are called IP addresses. Every single email has one. (It's
similar to a local "postmark" on the envelope or an ID number.) Everyone
needs one of these to get on the Net. They are quite unique and there isnt
any two alike !
The following is a list of IP address info you requested. Now, if you know
how to read/translate them, you can actually TRACE the person back to its
original owner (email account or an account they use to get connected on
the Internet). Of course there is a very fine line between invading ones
privacy & what have you. This is probably one of the reasons you dont send
anonymous flame-emails to others thinking that no one knows who you are!
Once you annoy the wrong person, he/she could mail-bomb you or nuke you PC
using your IP address. It's quite vicious out there.... & in this day &
age on the Net, nothing is 100% safe-guarded against destruction.
If a 13 yr old kid can tap into AOL & reveal the real identity of an AOL
user with his address and credit card, any determined person could do it
including you and I. All it takes is a little bg & knowledge..

DEAR FRIENDS,
I would appreciate anyone who can translate the following
internet sites to their appropriate names. For example, our
computer work-station at physics department has internet address
(129.127.36.15) of which it also has the name
(pilot.physics.adelaide.edu.au).
The following addresses appears to be the original-sites of the rather
obscured-mails that were sending out to BurmaNet quite a few
weeks ago.
