                                 MEETING IN PROGRESS
		
		National League for Democracy commenced its 9th annual meeting today at
0900 hrs at Mrs Aris? University Avenue compound. Although the NLD was
informed by the relevant authorities to hold the meeting with (300) 
participants, altogether (530) invited persons and the local foreign
journalists are in attendance this morning, it is learnt.
