I'm posting this on request of a friend of mine in mid-west.  I think my
first attempt failed so here it is.

Many of us are already aware of on goin attacks from ruthless military
regime on the border between Thailand and Burma in the Shan State area. 
As result, thousands and thousands of ethnic Shans are fleeing their
homeland to refugee camps on the border.

Shan Human Rights Foundation needs your help!  They cannot do it alone! 
Even as little as ten dollars <US> would make a huge difference between
a starving child and helpless mother.  Many of us are fortunate enough
to live under a shelter with our beloved friends and family but tens of
thousands are not.  

In order to waver the heavy withdraw fee fr the bank, pls send "signed"
<both top & bottom> traveler checks if possible.  Pls make your kind
