Thursday, 12 June - MEPs passed a resolution condemning the military regime
in Burma for human rights violations and calling on that regime to guarantee
the fundamental rights of its people. They urged the EU to end all trade,
tourism and investment links with Burma and offered support to the forces of
democracy in that country.
