Burma-China : High-ranking Chinese delegation in
                            Burma

                            BANGKOK, March 24 (AFP) - A high-level Chinese
delegation
                            arrived in Burmese capital Rangoon late Monday
for an official
                            goodwill visit, state-run Burmese radio reported
in a dispatch
                            monitored here.

                            The delegation led by Luo Gan, secretary-general
of the State
                            Council of China, was welcomed at Rangoon's
Mingladone airport
                            by senior Burmese military junta members,
including first
                            secretary Lieutenant General Khin Nyunt and
Foreign Minister Ohn
                            Gyaw, Radio Rangoon said.

                            Luo and his delegation were visiting at the
invitation of Khin
                            Nyunt, the radio report said without giving
further details.
