What to do about auto reply
- Subject: What to do about auto reply

Hi there BNETers,
THE PROBLEM
Many people are under the misconception that replying to the 'AUTO REPLY'
message and asking them to stop will solve the problem. Unfortunatly your
messages go to Burmanet for all of us to read. Sure, one does go to
zoom.com, however, it IS an AUTOMATIC REPLY, that means a PC at zoom.com
looks at the incoming message TO address and if the user has been
deleted, sends the message that is annoying us. NO human intervention!!!
THE SOLUTION
There are 3 solutions.
1. Send a message to the zoom.com administration.
My guess on there address (and it is only a guess but who knows it might
just work!) is:
admin@xxxxxxxx
help@xxxxxxxx
support@xxxxxxxx
If we all let them know what is happening, they might do something about it.
2. Don't reply to the AUTO REPLY message. Send only important info until
Strider can sort out the list again. This will minimise the traffic.
3. Unsubscribe to BURMANET and subscribe to BURMANEWs until Strider tell
us it is fixed. Instructions are below. With BURMANEWs you only get
Striders updates.
I recommend that you keep a copy of there instructions in a folder
somewhere as many people forget how to unsubscribe in 12 months (or
before they leave an organisation that has an AUTO REPLY feature!!)
