SLORC Press: Suu Kyi Planning Dest
Subject: SLORC Press: Suu Kyi Planning Destruction of Country
Article by Shwe Pyi Thar: "If you feel fear, you will have shame; if you
have shame, you will feel fear" in Burmese government daily KYEMON,
August 10, 1996, p. 6
[text translated from the Burmese]
Mrs. Aris Suu Kyi, who is the modern day Maung Ba Than [the person
instrumental in bringing Burma under British servitude], is maliciously
trying to return Myanmar to servitude. She is trying to implement the
plans of her British husband and her neocolonialist in-laws without
regard to her ancestry. Mrs. Aris is constantly planning the destruction
of the entire Myanmar people, rather than her opposition to the ruling
government. She could voice her opposition to the government in a
constructive manner, and she could also present her opinion and
conviction. Such are the practices of a cultivated and intelligent
person. However, the autocratic actions of Mrs. Aris Suu Kyi -- who was
timid, undaring, and quiet in the country where she grew up and got
married -- have created skepticism among the Myanmar people.
Neocolonialists have not only adopted Mrs. Suu Kyi as the modern day
Maung Ba Than but have also married her off to a Briton of Jamaican
descent, and she has borne two Anglo offspring. They have also named her
a heroine of democracy by awarding her the worldrenowned Nobel Peace
Prize, when the country and the whole world know that instead of bring
about peace and stability in Myanmar she is creating unrest and
disturbances. Like Mrs. Suu Kyi, the president of the Soviet Union, Mr.
Gorbachev, also received the Nobel Peace Prize. After Gorbachev received
the Nobel Peace Prize, the Soviet Union disintegrated, the economy
collapsed, and the breakaway republics started fighting each other, and
the clashes continue still today. The Soviet Union, which Mrs. Suu Kyi's
British relatives at one time feared, has been turned into a toothless
tiger, a snake without venom. Once a superpower, they are now hungry for
American assistance and are compelled to comply with American wishes. The
Russians have regretted a little too late and they can never return to
the superpower status they once held.
Mrs. Suu Kyi, thinking her mere million-dollar Nobel Prize is an
enormous award, has been resorting to various measures to create a
bloodbath and disintegrate Myanmar. It seems the Englishman's wife
believes absolutely that she could obtain power if anarchic disturbances
