Unocal's Yadana Project booklet (r)

One brief point. Unocal claims to have spent $3 million on its
"development projects" in the pipeline zone. This is figured at the
official rate of 5.6 kyats to the US dollar. Today (July 24) the rate is
about 180 kyat to the dollar on the open market. Thus Unocal's $3 million
suddenly becomes $100,000. Only one ludicrous point out of many.
