Dear Dr. Tint:

Thank you for your letter to Governor Weld in which you express
support for House Bill 2833, An Act to Regulate State Contracts with
Companies Doing Business with or in the Country of Burma (Myanmar). As you
may know, the Governor signed this bill on June 25; it is now Chapter 130
of the Acts of 1996.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write. The Weld-Cellucci
Adminstration appreciates your input on this issue.

         Sincerely,

                                        sd.
