UPI: US Condemns SLORC

  US CONCEMNS BURMA MILITARY REGIME

   WASHINGTON, May 25 (UPI) -- A spokesman said (Sataurday) the United
States has made known its views to the Burma government in Washington and
Rangoon and urged it not to interfere with the National League for
Democracy conference in Rangoon on Sunday. White House press secretary Mike
McCurry also said the U.S. is urging Americans to reconsider non- essential
travel to Burma.
