        The fourth conference of the All Burma Students Democratic 
Front was successfully ended on October 20, 1995 at the student camp 
along the Thai-Burma border. The conference, started from October 5, 
1995 was attended by the 69 representatives  of the students camps.  
During the sessions of the conference , political and military reports of 
the central committee was submitted and activities of the ABSDF 
which had been implemented during the term of  1991-1995. 
Participants also discussed  and analyzed the current political and 
military situation of Burma. The reports of working departments were 
also submitted and strategies, policies of the ABSDF were discussed 
and unanimously adopted by the participants. 
        In order to achieve the aims and objectives, the participants of 
the conference unanimously decided to balance between the political 
and military strategy while endeavoring to extend the international 
solidarity and seeking for international pressure upon the military 
regime in Burma. Military Code of Conduct, based on the four Geneva 
Conventions of August 12, 1949 was adopted and working plans for 
the future were decided.
        On 19th and 20th of October, the new Central Committee was 
elected by secret ballots. Dr. Naing Aung was re-elected as the 
chairman of ABSDF. All the participants of the conference were 
determined to continue the struggle under the leadership of the new 
Central Committee until democracy is achieved in Burma.
        The following members of the ABSDF were elected as the 
Central Committee members to lead the front for the next three years.
