Dear friends,
I read with interest the report from the ABSDF yesterday on the net that 
a number of prisoners that the SLORC have claimed have been released were 
re-arrested at the funeral of U Nu.

I am working with a human rights organisation in Australia (International 
Commission of Jurists - Australain Section - WA Branch) and we would 
be interested in putting together a press release concerning this event. 
Our newspapers carry regular stories that claim that SLORC continue to 
release political prisoners, however, the report from ABSDF puts a 
completely different light on the veracity of those claims.

If anyone could provide any further details (although I realise that that 
is difficult) it would be much appreciated.
