BYVA'S ANNUAL MEETING HELD. DENOUNCE SLORC'S ATTACKS ON ETHNIC NATIONALITIES.
	Tokyo - Annual meeting of Burma Youth Volunteer Association (Japan)
was held on the Union Day of Burma after the demonstration in front of the
SLORC embassy.
	BYVA members elected Executive Committee for the 1995-96 by vote
and discussed current situation of the democracy movement for Burma.
Although the fall of Manerplaw, BYVA is in high spirit and vows to
eradicate all dictatorship in Burma, no matter how many years that will
take. The participants unanimously denounce SLORC's systematic genocide on
ethnic nationalities.
	In Japan, Tokyo based BYVA is doing activities together with
Nagoya based International Network for Burma Relief(INBR), Kyoto based
Burmese Relief Center-Japan(BRC-J)and Tokyo based Democratic Burmese
Student Organization(Japan)(DBSO). BYVA (Japan)has a brother oganiziation,
BYVA(Germany),and intention to cooperate with other domestic and overseas
organizations which will oppose the dictatorship without concession.
