This is crap, Alan, and I'm sure you know it. It takes only one telephone
call to confirm the story, and it could have been printed the next day. I
think it's almost two weeks now - it certainly doesn't take that long to
confirm that something has appeared in print a few hundred miles from
Bangkok. I agree, however, that the text could not be quoted in Thailand,
without breaking the law. So much for the Thai free press.
